If you’re using this splitter with the standard Plus Connect plug, you can place it anywhere in the run of lights using the connector interfaces on the ends of the ports. If you’re using the high power Plus Connect plug, it’s essential to place a 2 way splitter between the plug and the lights if you’re looking to double the number of strings of lights recommended for use with the high powered plug, but to keep everything running from the same power source. Another splitter can be added further down the display if required, for example, if wrapping the lights around tree branches.  Â
